I feel fortunate to live in a natural environment where growing up as a child seemed the natural way of life.  My father had a close connection with the ocean and had practiced his path as a sea witch.  So it was natural I was drawn to the same similar path.

Learning about the ocean, water spirits & guides, elements, weather, gardening, beach combing, Polynesian myths, moon cycles. I wasn't much of a fisherman lol not like one of my sisters who seemed to be a natural at it. However I had learnt to make nets and learnt design of native arts.  I was curious and fascinated with reading weather patterns (nature patterns) just by observing family who did read the signs of nature or signs as in psychic sight and the element of water always seems to flow with psychic ability to see, dream, visions, astral.

As a child we were at the beach often not to play and build sandcastles like other kids did but to collect seafood, which at the time wasn't our top favourite things to do.  Thinking back now with much appreciation I feel it was our cultures way of telling us who we are and how to look after the environments we are drawn to spiritually.
